All terms refer to all considerations of Learnmode necessary to undertake support to you for the express purpose of meeting your User needs in respect of our services, under and subject to, prevailing law of the state or country in which Learnmode operates (United Kingdom). We do NOT offer a Refunds so as mentioned please make sure you do Research before purchasing a Course from Learnmode.
Intellectual Property Rights
Other that the content you own and opted to includes on this Website, under these Terms, Learnmode and/or its licensors own and reserve all intellectual property rights of this Website. You are granted a limited licence, subject to the restrictions entailed in these Terms and Conditions, for purpose of viewing this Website’s content.
Learnmode Instructor Terms and Conditions
At Learnmode we strive to be the best, so we require you to deliver quality help and support to the buyers of your course. As a course creator you will be required to always make sure your course is up to date with relevant information. Any feedback from members should be taken into consideration. Everything you do keep it professional.
If your course covers over business procedures, you can NOT give any sort of financial advice to any of the members, and we stress for you to make sure in the training you mention this as well if necessary.
As our Policy states, we do not accept Refunds at Learnmode for all Instructors security and course protection.
For every sale of your course Learnmode will receive 15% of every sale, this is due to your course being listing on Learnmode Marketplace, this will also be contributing to help with the marketing of your course. Please understand the 15% cut may rise in the future. You will be informed of this before any changes are made.
For the transaction fee from Stripe payments we cover that on our behalf at Learnmode for you.
Your payout is on a 7-day rolling basis, you will be able to see your funds in your Stripe account.
We may have to switch to your account to help assist you with any issues you are having, and we may carry out random checks to make sure your course includes everything it should and is including the necessary information.
You are in full control of the price of your course, meaning you should charge what your course is worth, if you need assistance with price ranges please get in touch with our support team who will happily help you. If a course is clearly too overpriced we have full rights to pause any sales on your course until we investigate further and speak to you.
Affiliate Program
Automatic Affiliation: By listing your product(s) on our platform, you acknowledge and agree that your course(s) will be automatically included in our affiliate program. Affiliates will have the opportunity to promote and sell your course(s) on our website and affiliated channels.
Opting Out of Affiliation: If you do not wish to have your course(s) affiliated and do not want affiliates to promote them, you have the option to opt out. To opt out, please head over to the Learnmode Help Centre and you will find the answer on how you can stop your product from being affiliated.
Commission: When your course(s) are promoted by affiliates, they may earn a commission of 10% per sale as outlined in our affiliate program terms and conditions.
Compliance with Policies: As a vendor, you are responsible for ensuring that your products and marketing materials comply with our website’s policies, including content guidelines, intellectual property rights, and ethical business practices.
You can NOT be an affiliate for your own courses if you are an Instructor on Learnmode.
Use of Music in Videos
If instructors choose to incorporate music into their videos while using our platform or services, we kindly request that they adhere to the following guidelines:
- Music Credit: Instructors are encouraged to give proper credit to the creators of the music used in their videos wherever applicable. This includes acknowledging the original artists, composers, or sources of the music in the video descriptions or captions.
- Avoid Licensed Music: Instructors must refrain from using licensed music that they do not have the appropriate rights or licenses for. Using copyrighted music without proper authorization may result in legal consequences, and we do not endorse or support any such activities.
We value the importance of respecting copyright and intellectual property rights. Instructors are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of music in videos complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Failure to do so may lead to the removal of content or the suspension of access to our platform or services.
By using our platform or services, instructors acknowledge and agree to abide by these guidelines regarding the use of music in videos. We reserve the right to revise these guidelines as needed and take appropriate action in cases of non-compliance.
We are non-exclusive to your course, so if you would like to remove your course from our Marketplace please contact us at info@learnmode.co.uk
As a course creator you agree on not to cause any harm or threat to the company itself. No Creators will have any shares within the company “LEARNMODE LTD” and have no rights within the company.
Refunds for Instructor Courses
At Learnmode, we value the commitment of our instructors to providing high-quality educational content. To maintain trust and transparency with our learners, we have established guidelines regarding refunds for instructor courses.
Refund Eligibility:
- Course Description: Instructors are responsible for ensuring that their course descriptions accurately represent the content and meet our standard requirements. If a course is found not to match the description or does not meet our standards, learners may be entitled to a refund.
Refund Request Timeframe:
- Timely Request: To be eligible for a refund, learners must submit a refund request within 7 days of the date of purchase. Requests submitted after this timeframe will not be considered for a refund.
Refund Process:
- Investigation: Upon receiving a refund request, Learnmode will initiate an investigation to determine whether the course in question did not match the description or meet our standard requirements.
- Decision: Learnmode will make a decision regarding the refund request based on the results of the investigation. If the course is found to be non-compliant with the description or standard requirements, a refund will be processed for the learner.
Instructor Responsibilities:
- Transparency: Instructors are encouraged to maintain transparency and accuracy in their course descriptions. If there are any changes or updates to the course content that could impact its alignment with the description or standard requirements, instructors should promptly update the course details.
- Communication: Instructors should be prepared to address learner concerns and inquiries regarding course content, quality, and alignment with the description.
By offering courses on Learnmode, instructors agree to abide by these refund policies and terms. We believe that these policies contribute to a fair and trustworthy learning environment for both instructors and learners.
